Wingate Feb 13 (1944) – Mary Elizabeth Hooker, 62, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her nephew, AM Metzker near here. She had been suffering from paralysis for some time but her sudden death was unexpected. Mrs Hooker was born June 1, 1882 near Pine Village but spent most of her life until recently at Boswell. She had made her home with her nephew since her illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
